about

welcome. this blog is about little things. only about thoughts; no explanations, no reasons. i don't define anything. because when you define anything, you restrict it.
i don't like restrictions.

i write here being just myself - without any trace of other things or attachment. sometimes it is a kid within me, sometimes it is a bad me, a stranger me, an unknown me.

in these days

i still haven't gotten around learning guitar - thing that i have always kept longing for. one thing i'd regret if i die all of sudden.

close line

i managed to avoid a disasterous bike accident today.

luckily, i have never been involved in bike accident so far. i guess this is all due to big concentration i put on while riding. today was different though. reclling what happened today today is enough to raise my hair! my bike nearly skidded off the road. why? the answer is speed. i quickly picked that front wheel was losing grip by a fraction, but not before it was too late to cut off throttle and continue on with the flow. back to the balance on extreme speed then. it all happened too quickly and i did correct it so fast that my friend sitting behind didn't even notice all this. see what happened! sometimes it is better not to know that you were ever on risk :)

so why do we speed on then? why to those extreme levels? well, i guess its because, risks aside, there is a different thing to experience - something we don't feel everyday - the speed. it thrills, it gives you an adrenaline rush that you may not know is inside you. yes.

saved today. not sure until when. the journey continues though.

friday night in london

this is friday night in london. we are at the torch - a pub in wimbley. they have some sort of fantastic combo meal and of course, plenty of drinks. the speciality of this place, as they call it reggyoke, is that you get a chance to sing your favourite song while the crew plays a track for you.

lots of buzz... lots of songs and then a guy shows up. 'you know its true... everything i do... i do it for you...' he sings this timeless song by bryan adams. god, everyone loved it. deep down, somewhere in my mind, i thought that this song was now 'old' but listening to this guy singing with such abandon i realized few things do not fade out... it was like my interest on this song got renewed, pehaps this will never go away. thank you

evening at westminster

my watch shows 7pm, it is another cold evening in london. i have just finished my work at excel. the dlr comes up and i go in. this dlr thing is really nice railway the londoners have. i love how it travels on the bridge. canning town is just two stations away. i get off the dlr and change to jubilee line. it speeds up...

i stop at westminster and get out of the station. the view outside is beautiful. thames is reflecting lights from buildings on its bank. the amazing london eye stands proudly on the other side. i walk silently to the westminster bridge, take this snap and just stand there... its windy. its amazing.

who is your best friend?

i am in college library. four girls from my class have spent several minutes talking about how 'best friend' is like.

i am listening to them for quie a while. time for me to speak, i think. all i want is to bring their discussion to an end. i say that it is almost impossible to draw a line that tells you who exactly is your 'best' friend. you never know until time tests your relation. i was trying to make a point saying that i don't know who my best friend is.

then a girl stands up. as if i was kindergarten student, she starts with basic explanation - "a best friend is... " she goes on and on and on.

gosh!

Thanks for stopping by!

at last

enjoy the little things,
for one day you may look back and
realize they were the big things.
