about

welcome. this blog is about little things. only about thoughts; no explanations, no reasons. i don't define anything. because when you define anything, you restrict it.
i don't like restrictions.

i write here being just myself - without any trace of other things or attachment. sometimes it is a kid within me, sometimes it is a bad me, a stranger me, an unknown me.

in these days

i still haven't gotten around learning guitar - thing that i have always kept longing for. one thing i'd regret if i die all of sudden.

hazy kathmandu

i woke up this morning to find it is hazy outside. not something you'd expect when you're going to start your day. the pollution is gripping up all over.

finished reading 'antarmanko yatra'

this evening i finished reading 'antarmanko yatra,' a novel by jagadish ghimire.

its a masterpiece; a book with true expressions from the writer's inner heart. the book gave me a reminder that many times a journey is more important in life than the destination itself.

when people call my name wrong

it makes me angry when people just can't call my name right.
sandesh isn't that difficult - so why in this world some people call me (repeatedly) by wrong name like sandeep or sajay or santosh etc. i have to correct them every time. damn!

she is my good luck charm

shubhekshya and swikriti, my nieces, called me this evening. it was so nice to speak with them. the younger one, swikriti, is my good luck charm. i feel so elated everytime i hear her voice.

got library membership today

now i am a member of kathmandu valley public library (kvpl).
i used to be a british council library member but they decided to shut it down a few months ago and donated all their books to kvpl. well, kvpl looks good in bhrikutimandap premises.

Thanks for stopping by!

at last

enjoy the little things,
for one day you may look back and
realize they were the big things.
