i know she will not call

she and i were in same office a couple of years ago. today, i met her again by chance. we had a short talk - just hello things. she was in hurry; little uncomfortable. she asked my number. i don't know, may be she just asked. but i know she is not going to call me. this is how friendship fades into acquaintance. this is how things drift away unknowingly.
